Tech Talk: Raising the Bar on Benchmarks: Simulation of Right Brain Games with LLM

Abstract: Current LLM benchmarks focus primarily on logical reasoning and factual recall, missing critical creative and strategic thinking capabilities. Our research introduces codenames, a word association game as a benchmark for measuring AI creativity through semantic relationships and strategic thinking. We've developed a Creativity Score metric and conducted comparative analysis across major LLM providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.), revealing significant performance variations not captured by traditional benchmarks.
