- 6:00pm~6:10pm: Welcome, Community update
- 6:10pm~7:30pm: Tech talks and Q&A
- 7:30pm~8:00pm: Open discussion, Mixer and Closing.

Tech Talk: Distributed Deep Learning at Scale
Speakers: Suman Debnath (Anyscale)
Abstract: As deep learning models grow in complexity, particularly with the rise of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI, scalable and cost-effective training has become a critical challenge. This talk introduces Ray Train, an open-source, production-ready library built for seamless distributed deep learning. We will explore its architecture, advanced resource scheduling, and intuitive APIs that simplify integration with popular frameworks such as PyTorch, Lightning, and HuggingFace. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how Ray Train accelerates large-scale model training while ensuring reliability and efficiency in production environments.

Tech Talk: How to feed your AIs with web data
Speaker: Jan Curn (Apify)
Abstract: Web scraping has been the silent engine behind the AI revolution. Generative AI and LLMs depend on vast web-extracted datasets, and even today’s AI agents need live web data to stay accurate and relevant. However, scraping the modern web is complex due to anti-bot protections and dynamic pages. This talk will show how to build resilient, cloud-based scraping workflows, clean and structure data, store it in vector databases for RAG, and integrate scraping tools into AI agents via the MCP, empowering AI to learn continuously from the web.
