Abstract: Most devs use Claude Code interactively, but the SDK lets you wrap it in programmatic control—forcing plan mode, extracting structured outputs, and orchestrating multi-step workflows. Ty will live-code a simple agent that turns Claude Code from a chatbot into a predictable state machine.
