Welcome to the AI meetup in San Francisco, in collaboration with Civic, Redpanda and Moss Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and Agents, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers and fellow developers.

Agenda:
- 5:30pm~6:00pm: Checkin, food and networking
- 6:00pm~6:15pm: Welcome and Community update
- 6:15pm~7:30pm: Tech talks and Q&A
- 7:30pm~8:30pm: Open discussion, Mixer and Closing.

Tech Talk: Guardrails to OpenClaw
Speaker: Titus Capilnean (Civic)
Abstract: AI agents can now call APIs, execute workflows, and take real actions across your stack. Projects like OpenClaw show how quickly autonomous agents are becoming powerful system operators. But most agent systems still lack one critical layer: granular authorization. We’ll explore why unrestricted agents create new security challenges for developers and demo how to add guardrails to OpenClaw.

Tech Talk: The Convergence of Real-Time Data and AI
Speaker: Peter Corless (Redpanda)
Abstract: The world of AI has its origins in batch processing of large data sets. In more recent years it has had to accelerate to faster and faster development cycles — feedback from real-time usage, RAG and MCP architectures for live data lookups. What's driving the convergence of AI and real-time data? And how can you ride the wave?

Tech Talk: Real-Time Voice AI
Speaker: Sri Raghu Malireddi (Moss)
Abstract: Real-time AI agents are going mainstream, powering live phone calls across thousands of business locations. But the bottleneck isn't the LLM. It's retrieval. When a caller asks a question mid-conversation, the agent needs context in under 10ms or the experience breaks. We'll walk through why traditional vector databases fail at conversational speed, how Moss solves this by running a semantic retrieval engine locally alongside agent runtimes, and share production lessons from deploying across 1,000+ business locations.
