Tech Talk: AI - The Tolerance-Based Framework
Speaker: Madona Wambua (Google Developer Expert, Adjunct Lecturer CUNY)
Abstract: As AI tools enter the software development lifecycle, the real challenge isn’t adoption it’s control. Madona presents a practical tolerance-based framework (Logical, Volatility, and Cognitive Tolerance) that helps leaders determine where AI-generated code is low-risk and where it requires strict oversight. Using examples from mobile and backend systems, I illustrate how high-tolerance areas thrive with AI acceleration while low-tolerance zones demand guardrails. Leaders will gain a structured method for evaluating AI output, enforcing reliability through static analysis and architectural boundaries, and scaling AI use without compromising stability or developer trust.
Tech Talk: Can We Rebuild AI's Source of Truth?
Speaker: Dr. Chris Geyer, Founder & CEO, T-Reqs
Abstract: Modern AI systems are built from code, datasets, pre-trained models, packages, cloud storage, and infrastructure—but unlike software, they often lose the history of how they came to be. This talk explores why today's MLOps tooling struggles to provide a single source of truth, introduces two simple systems primitives that can make lineage automatic and objective again, and gives a demo of how runtime observation can capture provenance without code changes or infrastructure lock-in. Talk is for all those building AI systems.
Tech Talk: Agent Evals in Financial Services
Speaker: Chuxin Liu, Vice President at JPMorganChase
Abstract: Financial services teams are shipping AI agents that summarize filings, run analyses, draft client-facing memos, and create decks and reports—work where a wrong number or an out-of-scope answer carries real regulatory, fiduciary, and reputational cost. This talk lays out a practical approach to evaluating those agents, along with the mistakes that quietly derail eval efforts and erode trust in the product.
