Tech Talk: Navigating the Gemmaverse: Building AI Agents That Run Everywhere, from Cloud to On-Device
Speaker: Henry Ruiz (AgriLife Research, Google Developer Expert)
Abstract: The Gemmaverse is a rapidly expanding ecosystem of open models and tools that enables developers to build intelligent applications across cloud, desktop, mobile, and edge environments. In this session, we will explore the Gemma family, including Gemma 4, FunctionGemma, EmbeddingGemma, PaliGemma, ShieldGemma, VaultGemma, and GemmaScope, and discuss how each component contributes to the development of modern AI systems.
Through practical examples and live demonstrations, attendees will learn how to combine Gemma models and companion tools to build AI agents that can reason, use tools, retrieve knowledge, understand multimodal data, and run efficiently across a wide range of devices. From cloud deployments to on-device experiences, participants will gain a practical roadmap for using the Gemma ecosystem to create scalable, production-ready AI applications.

Tech Talk: AI Era: Patients Don't Start With Google Anymore
Speaker: Hastimal Jangid (Co-founder, RankRabbit) | Harsh Jangid (Co-founder, RankRabbit)
Abstract: Patients are increasingly turning to AI assistants and large language models (LLMs) before traditional search engines or healthcare providers. But AI does more than answer questions—it ranks, filters, and recommends medical information, providers, and treatments. This talk explores the hidden AI recommendation stack, the security risks of prompt injection and content manipulation, and the governance challenges of ensuring trustworthy healthcare recommendations. As AI becomes the first point of contact for patients, understanding who controls what AI recommends is becoming a critical question for healthcare, cybersecurity, and responsible AI.
