Tech Talk: From IDE to Production: The Developer's Guide to Agents on Google Cloud
Speaker: Shreyak Gupta (Google Developer Expert)
Abstract: Building resilient AI agents requires more than just API calls; it requires a robust development loop. This session strips away the fluff and focuses on the core tools developers need to build, test, and deploy agents on Google Cloud. We will dive into the Antigravity, Agent Development Kit (ADK), explore the integration of Model Context Protocol (MCP), deploy Agents within the Agent Platform, and demonstrate how to wire these components together seamlessly while touching on concepts of AgentOps. Expect practical architectural patterns, code-level insights, and a live demo.

Tech Talk: Rank, Retrieve, Recommend: How Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Agents Are Shaping Healthcare AI
Speaker: Hastimal Jangid (Co-founder, RankRabbit) | Harsh Jangid (Co-founder, RankRabbit)
Abstract: Patients no longer start with a search box — they start a conversation, and increasingly, they hand that conversation off to an agent. Google's AI stack has moved from retrieval to reasoning to action: AI Overviews synthesize and ground answers in Search's index, Gemini models reason across multi-step queries, and agentic systems — built on function calling, tool use, and emerging agent-to-agent coordination — are beginning to research, compare, and act on a user's behalf. This talk goes inside that stack. We'll look at how Gemini grounds and ranks healthcare information, how AI Overviews decide what's authoritative enough to surface, and how agentic workflows extend this from "answering" to "acting" — querying multiple sources, evaluating provider credentials, and shortlisting healthcare options with minimal human review. We'll also explore where this stack is vulnerable: prompt injection through indexed content, adversarial signals designed to manipulate grounding and ranking, and the governance gaps that emerge when an agent — not a person — is the one making first contact with a patient. For developers building on Gemini and Google's AI platform, this session is a practical look at designing for trust, transparency, and safety in an agentic world — using healthcare as the case study where the stakes are highest.
